Kelley Massengale, LCSW, BACS
There are many counselors in the Baton Rouge area. I am glad you have found your way to my website. I am a client-centered therapist and believe strongly in the relationship of therapist/client. I believe that each person has the answers and my goal as a therapist is to walk alongside the person to help them uncover the answers and grow to be their best self.
Our lives consist of transitions of all kinds. I enjoy meeting people in the spaces within those transitions. Often, such times are the occasion for discernment, assessment, and change. I provide a confidential, professional relationship for the journey. I focus on strengths as well as challenges and seek creative, imaginative solutions. I respect all life contexts and spiritual orientations.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LA License #10168) and Board Approved Clinical Supervisor. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Samford University and my Masters in Social Work from LSU. Along with my work in private practice, I've worked with children, adolescents and adults in outpatient settings with a primary focus on anxiety and depression, chronic mental illness, relationships, and communication/interpersonal struggles.
I specialize in helping individuals, adolescents, and couples with the areas of depression, anxiety, relationship issues, divorce, and trauma. Please call for a free consultation and we can have a brief conversation about what is bringing you to seek help and if you and I are a good fit to work together.
